A signal of winter's arrival, the Fuyu can be eaten firm and crisp like an apple, or paired with meats and cheeses on a holiday spread. With flavours of cinnamon, pear, and brown sugar, there's so many delicious applications for this little winter beacon!
Ingredients:
- Firm Persimmons, sliced into wedges
- Brie
- Drizzle of honey
Instructions:
- Layer a slice of persimmon with a small wedge of brie, and top with a tiny drizzle of honey. Perfect with salted crackers or crusty bread.
Tip: Also lovely with the addition of prosciutto and black pepper!
