Hot Honey Whipped Feta

This hot honey whipped feta dip is a must-have for your entertaining repertoire. Pair with veggies, pita, focaccia, crackers, naan or any other easy dipping vessel. Also makes a great appy to bring to a dinner party.

Ingredients
Whipped Feta Mixture

  • 200g of Macedonian Feta
  • 1/3 cup of plain yogurt
  • zest of 1 lemon or lime (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of Bombini Olive Oil
Topping
  • 3 tbsp wildflower honey
  • 1 tsp of chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp of lemon or lime juice
  • Handful of parsley chopped (can sub other seasonal herbs)

Instructions
Make Hot Honey

  • Combine honey, chili flakes and lemon juice or lime juice to a small pan.
  • Heat until honey becomes more runny and starts to bubble.
  • Remove the pan from the heat.
Make Whipped Feta
  • Add feta to food processor with yogurt, olive oil and zest.
  • Mix until smooth and creamy.
Plate and Serve
  • Scoop feta onto serving plate or platter.
  • Using the back of a spoon create a swirled pattern in the mixture.
  • Pour hot honey over the mixture so it collects in the ridges of the swirl pattern.
  • Top with chopped parsley.
