Radish Terrine

Terrine is a lovely layer of goodness stacked and packed into every slice. We’ve been seeing this radish butter terrine for years, and it’s time we gave it a shot! Incredibly easy and an experience all its own. Buttered toast is nice, but hey, you can always do better!!

Ingredients:

  • 1 - 1 & 1/2 cups of butter softened
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • Flaky salt

Instructions:

  1. Spray a small shallow loaf pan with oil and line with saran wrap.
  2. Take your butter out of the fridge and let soften for at least a few hours on the counter. You want to be able to smooth it out with a spatual.
  3. Grate some of your radishes and add to the butter, then slice the remaining radishes into half moons.
  4. Smooth out the butter onto the dish and make sure it's lined to the edges. Place your remaining half moon radishes around the base in alternating placements, and cover with the remaining butter. Top with flaky salt.
  5. Cover and chill in the fridge until firm (2-3 hours).
  6. Slice and serve chilled on a slice of toasty sourdough, crackers, or in a sandwich!

Tip: Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days well covered, or freeze slices to pull out on a whim when you want to get *~elevated~*!
