Hot cocoa is a classic comfort drink with roots that go back thousands of years to the ancient civilizations of Central America, where the Mayans and Aztecs first prepared a rich, spiced chocolate beverage made from ground cacao beans.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened Cocoa powder
- 2 cups of powdered sugar or finely ground granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, sift together all ingredients and mix well
- Heat 1 cup of your preffered milk or non dairy milk

Stir in 3-4 tablespoons of the mix until smooth and fully dissolved
- Enjoy as is, or top with whipped cream, sprinkles or marshmallows!
Tip: Store in an airtight jar for remaining mixture!
