Gremolata is an Italian condiment that simply consists of finely grated garlic, lemon zest, and fresh parsley. Our twist is the fresh almonds that add a tender bite and buttery flavour that makes this Gremolata shine.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup fresh almonds, cracked and roughly chopped
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 small garlic clove, finely minced
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, Finley chopped
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl combine chopped almonds, lemon zest, parsley, garlic, parmesan, olive oil, salt and pepper. It's that easy!
Tip: Toss Gremolata with hot pasta and a splash of pasta water for an epic nutty dinner!
