Salanova head lettuces come in a variety of colours and textures from Tatlo Road Farm in Cowichan Valley. While salanova is the size of baby lettuce, it is fully grown and it's taste is fully developed. Salanova, in all it's varieties, shares the characteristics of being able to be cut close to the root at an ideal size for salad mix.

Niki and Nick's journey to farming in the Cowichan Valley reflects a passion for food and sustainability cultivated over time. Together, they spent four years gaining experience on organic vegetable farms across BC before settling in the Cowichan Valley in 2012. Since then, they've tirelessly developed their farm, starting with half an acre of vegetables and gradually expanding to 7 acres. As they continue to grow their farm and markets, Niki and Nick remain focused on a commitment to sustainable, family-centric farming.
