The Hofmann family is grateful to call the Cowichan Valley home, surrounded by vibrant farms, dairies, and wineries that inspire their own small farm. Since purchasing their 9.5-acre property in 2012, they’ve embraced the beauty and potential of the land, with its second-growth forest, fresh water, and fields. In 2016, Paul Plenti of Mobetta Herbs began growing his greens on the farm, sparking the team’s interest in food production. Inspired by the balance of hard work, nature, and home, they decided to start their own official farm, creating meaningful, peaceful work that connects them to the land and their community.
