Peach Crumble is a comforting British dessert that rose to popularity during World War II, thanks to its simple ingredients and easy preparation. This classic dessert is just as beloved today—especially when served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients for the Filling:

  • 6 Large peaches sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Ingredients for the Topping:

  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving :)

Instructions:

  1.  Preheat oven to 375
  2. In a large bowl combine peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Mix, and pour melted butter in. Stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbles.
  4. Pour peaches and juices into a baking dish (11"x7"). Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over peaches.
