  • 1 ham (a 2.5lb ham will serve approx. 3-4 people)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 can pineapple slices in juice
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • Whole cloves

Prepare the Ham

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F.
  • Place the ham in a roasting pan, fat side up. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern about 1/4 inch deep. This helps the glaze penetrate and gives it a nice presentation.
  • Open the can of pineapple slices and drain the juice into a bowl. Place pineapple slices on the top of the ham, using the whole cloves to secure the pineapple rings.

Make the Glaze

  • Mix the pineapple juice with the sugar & dijon mustard.
  • Heat the mixture in the microwave for 30 seconds - 1 minute, until the glaze is bubbling and slightly thickened.
  • Using a brush or spoon, generously coat the ham with the glaze, ensuring it covers the entire surface for maximum flavor.

  • Place the ham in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for about 15-20 minutes per pound.
  • Baste the ham with the pan juices and glaze every 30 minutes to keep it moist and flavorful.
  • The ham is finished once the internal temperature reaches 140°F.

Rest and Serve

  • Once the ham is cooked through, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  • Remove the whole cloves and set aside pineapple for a delicious plate garnish.
  • Slice the ham and arrange it on a serving platter. Serve warm with any remaining glaze on the side. Enjoy!
